It was a great honor for me to photograph Ely & Frank’s wedding on the gorgeous North Fork of Long Island last month.
They originally planned to have their 11am wedding ceremony at Southold Town Beach amongst their closest friends and family, then decided to host it at the bay in their beautiful backyard instead.
I was so happy that they did, because I have always wanted to photograph a backyard wedding…
I love how personal it is – the opportunity of photographing unfolding family history in the comfort of ones home – knowing one of life’s most important milestones will forever sweeten that homestead…
Moreover, they were concerned about the lighting at the beach and they felt the lighting would be better at the Bay (I love when my couples care about the lighting as much as I do). =)
After their ceremony they hosted a luncheon at the wonderful North Fork Table Inn, also located in Southold.
For me to witness their love and document their special union while their family and friends toasted to their new beginning was incredibly moving to me and it will stay with me for a long time…
One of my favorite songs ever is Billy Joel’s “All about Soul” and I could not help but think of Ely & Frank…
Wishing Ely and Frank ever so much love and joy.

I just L O V E the gorgeous Orchids in Ely’s hair….so artistic…
Did I mention that Ely is just as sweet as she appears in these photographs?
Ely & Frank wrote their own personal vows – evidenced by their expressions that are so full of tenderness and emotion…
Admiring Ely’s stunning ring…
