Ulrike and Andrew are residents of New York City. Andrew is originally from Maine and Ulrike is originally from Berlin, Germany.
With an appreciation for the beauty of the North Fork of Long Island, they chose to have their wedding at the historic and beautiful Brecknock Hall in Greenport…
Smart phones and instructional You Tube videos can be helpful on a wedding day … =)
Their closest friends and family flew in from Maine to Germany – Ulrike & Andrew charted their guests to their wedding via the North Fork Express…
A touch of European goodness – Ulrike’s sister donning a wonderful hat…I wish these hats would catch on in the USA…I love to photograph them.
Ulrike & Andrew’s Mom’s performed the sand ceremony, combining sand from both continents into one…
I love when brides and grooms love nature as much as I do and when they do not mind trekking into it’s beauty to get the shot…
Something a little “blue” decided to grace Ulrike and Andrew’s cocktail hour on the backyard lawn…
The food was amazing….
A little NYC pride…
During the toasts, Ulrike’s charismatic maid of honor; Krista shared a story about a photograph that was taken of Ulrike and Andrew when they first met – capturing them both in the midst of heightened laughter.
I smiled inside, as I knew that I too was capturing them full of joy and laughing together throughout their wedding day… these images show how much love, respect and admiration that they have for one another, and I especially love that.
Brecknock Hall even looks beautiful lit up at night.
I absolutely loved shooting at this unique and historic venue.
Thank you Ulrike and Andrew for choosing me to be your wedding photographer.
Wishing you both all the happiness and laughter your hearts can hold.
