I photographed Ely and Frank’s North Fork wedding on May 17, 2014.
There is a bittersweet feeling in my heart because I so enjoyed this couple – our communications were always so easy and touched with great warmth… and now my services to them are completed.
I am truly grateful that they trusted me to document their day and so happy that they ordered an album to relive that beautiful day when they exchanged vows in their backyard.
I am so proud to offer Leather Craftsmen Albums to my brides and grooms. Designing wedding albums is an art form in and of itself – this is a 3500 series – Flush mount.
Below are some photos I took today to share on my blog before I ship it off to them.
Ely and Frank selected Japanese Book Cloth as their cover material in the color “Aqua” and chose the silver – modern font imprinting.
Upon deciding the title/font selection, Ely sweetly asked me if it would be okay to start the spine title with Frank’s name and to start the front cover title with her name.
“Of course”, I said; “It is your album – your keepsake – there are no rules – follow your heart.”
To me, this seemingly small gesture spoke volumes of the great love, respect and consideration they have for one another.
I love double spaced – capital letters on the spine.
I felt that this tender image deserved its’ own spread.
They wrote their own vows and I love the way Ely looks at Frank.
