Brooke and Iain were married at Macari Vineyards on the North Fork in Mattituck on the infamous Royal Wedding date of May 19, 2018.
However, they booked their date long before the royal couple (wink).
A little back story, Iain is originally from Scotland and met Brooke on his second day in the United States.
Perhaps Iain’s Scottish roots had something to do with the rainy weather (one more wink).
We had grand plans to take photos at Macari’s charming red barn along with an outdoor ceremony in the vines.
Rather, we took photos in the fabulous wine cellar and their ceremony was held indoors in front a large picture window overlooking the vineyard.
Despite these changes and inclement weather conditions, Brooke and Iain celebrated with joy.
I smiled when I said my goodbyes at the end of the night… Iain mentioned the weather and said, “the funny thing is Brooke and I actually like rain.”
It was the perfect day.
