Sag Harbor Proposal Photography
I am so excited to share this Sag Harbor proposal photography session taken at Elizabeth Morton Wildlife Refuge.
Andrew and Angela were in the Hamptons for the weekend staying at the Topping Rose House Hotel.
After suggesting and discussing various local locations Andrew chose Elizabeth Morton Wildlife Refuge.
It was the perfect and logical choice as they both enjoy nature and hikes.
I drew Andrew a sketch of where to walk and kneel at the refuge.
Along the way they fed the friendly birds and I captured a few incognito frames of them in that moment as they made their way to the bay.
On the shoreline of the Peconic Bay, Angela said, “YES!”
I loved capturing Angela’s emotional reaction of surprise and laughter as she used her face mask to wipe away her happy tears.
A few days prior we had a recent snowfall which added a magical mood to these Wintery proposal photography images.
After Angela said, “Yes” , we took some engagement photos with the birds, portraits in the snow and had a great time together.
Making memories like this was well worth the adventure of walking in the snow and ice for.
Well done Andrew!
Wishing Andrew and Angela a lifetime of fun memories and happy tears.
I love Winter Proposal and engagement sessions. The neutral tones of nature and the softer quality of light are very flattering portrait wise.
As a nature lover I love when I can work with couples that are kindred in that regard like Angela and Andrew.

Thank you for choosing me to photograph this once in a lifetime moment for you Andrew!
