Lion Rock Farm Wedding | Sharon, Connecticut|{Alyssa + Tim}

I am so excited to share this Fall wedding at Lion Rock Farm in Sharon Connecticut.

This was my first time photographing a wedding at Lion Rock and I am hoping it is not my last.

Lion Rock Farm is a magical fairy tale setting in Northwest Connecticut featuring rolling hills, lush gardens, classic barns, architectural charm and more.Their elegant guest houses allow you the option to stay overnight as well as for all your plans to conveniently take place all in one location.

As a nature and architecture lover, I am in photographic heaven in environments like this venue.

Tim chose his Dad to be his best man – such a testament of their bond – how heartwarming!

Alyssa and Tim wrote their own personal wedding vows eliciting both laughter and tears. On a side note – I love that she had the vows printed into books from Etsy.

Nice touch!

Afterwards, Alyssa and Tim mingled with their guests on the patio for cocktail hour and we took them away for a few golden hour photos as the sun was setting.

Their first dance song was, “From the Ground Up” by Dan + Shay.  

Some words from Alyssa:

Tim and I met through mutual friends. We connected instantly and have been inseparable ever since. Our friends would tell us that they could feel the love between us whenever we were together. We’ve protected each other from the very beginning. We’re the best of friends. And we feel invincible when we’re together.

I felt their invincible love too…
