I am so excited to share this Fire Island Lighthouse marriage proposal.
The Fire Island Lighthouse is an iconic and historic landmark as well as the tallest lighthouse on Long Island.
It makes for a great marriage proposal location with it’s picturesque scenery as a backdrop for your engagement photos.
Also, being a tourist attraction it will be fairly easy to get your future fiancé there for a visit to check it out.
Located at Robert Moses State Park – Field 5 it is easily accessible to visit from all points on Long Island.
Dom and Allison has their 2nd date there on a cold winter day – so two years later he brought her back there to pop the question.
Dom kneeled on the beach and Allison said, “Yes!”
I loved capturing her expressions, reactions and the tear streaming down her cheek.
Afterwards, we walked to the Lighthouse together and took some engagement photos.
Sharing some my favorites from their special and fun day.
Winter is an underrated time of year for proposals ,engagement sessions and weddings. The lighting is softer and I love the muted tones of foliage.
If you are considering a Fire Island Lighthouse Marriage proposal – I would love to capture this once in a lifetime moment for you and your future fiancé.
I have photographed many proposals at the Fire Island Lighthouse- like here – as well as throughout Long Island as seen here.
