Greenport Village is a fantastic engagement photography location.
This quaint nautical village has endless opportunities for creating artful photographs: Mitchell Park, the dock, Train museum, village streets and of course their infamous carousel.
This session was photographed on a mild December day and it felt like we had the whole town to ourselves, including the carousel.
This photo was taken at Mitchell Park and Marina. As soon as I saw the tall grass I knew I wanted to use that as it makes for a beautiful backdrop. The bride to be wore her grandmother's stole which made for a nice sentimental touch.
I actually love photographing Winter engagement sessions. There is something special about winter light and tones. Not to mention less people - which provides the couple with privacy to relax while being photographed.
More of this North Fork session can be seen on my blog post here.
If you are planning a Greenport engagement session, I know of so many awesome niches in this town and would love to capture this exciting time in your lives.
