Weddings Shelter Island East End Wedding Photographer

Shelter Island is my happy place and I use to secretly wish that I would be asked to photograph a wedding on Shelter Island.

For years I had taken the South Ferry from Sag Harbor with my bicycle in tow and rode for hours taking in the beautiful scenery and enjoying the island's tranquility.

I love to tell stories and I love backyard weddings. They are heartfelt, unique and personal.

In July of 2016 my wish came true with a wedding that had so many unique ingredients to add up to an unforgettable day.

This wedding was held at the bride's late grandmother's house overlooking the water.
The bride made her own wedding gown.
Her beloved Samoyed dog Kozue followed her around like a shadow for most of the day.
And her beloved grandfather would have the honor of giving her away at his own homestead.
