I am so happy to share another Jedediah Hawkins Inn wedding on my blog.
I had always hoped to photograph a wedding at Jedediah Hawkins Inn and this year I got my wish twice over.
From the architecture to the stunning grounds and gourmet food your wedding day will be unique, visually beautiful and a memorable day for all your guests.
Moreover, I like the idea of couples returning to the Inn for their anniversaries or a North Fork weekend getaway, as it will forever hold a special place in their hearts and minds.
Jedediah Hawkins Inn is not only a boutique hotel and renowned restaurant on the North Fork, but it is an absolutely charming venue to host your wedding.
It has the feel as though it is your home for the day and everyone that you love is invited over to enjoy it.
The Belvedere Suite is an enchanting space to photograph bridal prep and wedding day details.
As the bride heads toward her groom for their “first look” it appears like a scene straight out of a movie.
I love this tender hug after their Ketubah was signed.
The tree framing this scene during cocktail hour is a Royal Purple Smokebush. It is a must see when in bloom.
The breathing Royal Purple Smokebush Tree is in bloom in the background and looks lovely in the late afternoon sun.
I am not sure what they were saying but I was amused by all three hand gestures in synchronization.
A very special Grandma – dancing and looking on with love.
I love how the great lawn allows guests to enjoy some games while still remaining close to the tent. Especially great for children.
These adorable flower girls put the bridesmaid robes over there dresses while chasing and capturing Lightning Bugs.
Infamous East End Briermere Pies were served and were a big hit – even for the tots.
A full moon started to rise out of the darkness in the fields behind the tent which made for a nice wedding day finale.
Guest book sentiments – I especially love the adorable note by one of the Ring Bearers…”Have a Happy Life…Ha Ha.”
I am so grateful to have photographed another wedding at Jedediah Hawkins Inn and I hope to return one day in the future.
Special thanks to my talented friend Sherry Pickerell for second shooting for me.
