I am so excited to share this Long Island surprise proposal session on my blog!
Abrem and I began following one another’s Instagram pages a couple of years ago.
I remember when he first met Andrea, how grateful he was; that his prayers were answered.
His love and adoration for her was and is extraordinary.
Quietly, I thought and kept this thought to myself …”I hope he contacts me when he is ready to ask her to marry him.”
“This is a love story I want to photograph”.
Lo and behold, I recently received a DM from him on Instagram inquiring about photographing a surprise proposal at Port Jefferson Village Beach.
Now my prayers were answered (lol)!
Photographing surprise proposals and love stories is such an amazing job especially when two souls adore and appreciate one another like Abrem and Andrea.
Abrem entered the East Beach side while I waited on the West Beach side and I photographed their walk towards me.
She said ‘YES!”
If you look closely, you can see two streams of tears falling from Abrem’s eyes…
Then she hugs him with gratitude for caring to plan the whole thing out as he points to the sweet setup he arranged on the beach for her.
Thank you so much Abrem for choosing me to photograph one of the happiest days of yours and Andrea’s lives.
