Bridgehampton Surprise Marriage Proposal at Beebe Windmill
I am so excited to share this Bridgehampton surprise marriage proposal at Beebe Windmill.
Marc had a vision to propose marriage to Amanda in front of a windmill in The Hamptons.
He searched many windmills and finally found the perfect one in the perfect location to pop the question.
This effort on his part – along with hiring me to photograph this moment speaks volumes of his love for Amanda.
The Beebe windmill was built in 1820 by Lester Beebe in Sag Harbor, after his death it was moved to Bridgehampton.
Currently, there are only 11 remaining windmills in existence on Long Island.
Marc’s proposal vision unfolded like a fairytale.
Stopping off at the windmill before grabbing lunch he proposed and Amanda said, “YES!”
I love their expressions and affection in this moment that they will never forget.
I love planning and photographing surprise marriage proposals in a natural manner.
Unlike the cliche trends of Instagram, no props were used; leaving Amanda totally shocked and surprised.
Allowing me to photograph their pure – raw emotion and reactions!
Afterwards we stopped off at Marc’s home where their immediate family awaited to congratulate them on their engagement.
Well done Marc!
Sharing some of my favorites from the day!
Thank you Marc for finding this unique historic windmill in Bridgehampton. I really enjoyed photographing a proposal against a new canvas.
And thank you for trusting me to photograph this milestone in your lives.
