Rainy Day Montauk Proposal
I am so excited to share this rainy day Montauk proposal!
What do you do when the forecast predicts rain and fog on the day you want to propose marriage and you cannot reschedule?
Furthermore, what do you do when you are in the midst of a pandemic and cannot reconfigure the proposal to take place indoors?
You buy a cute umbrella – embrace the weather and roll with the punches.
Carl said, “I am hoping the photos will look beautiful with the rain, fog and the umbrella.”
Carl was right, the rain, fog and umbrella made for enchanting photos as well as a romantic fun adventure.
I loved his positive outlook.
And I especially loved Lauren’s reaction of shock and happiness as well as all of their sweet expressions.
The rain has a way of throwing the proposee off too – as they would not suspect that it to occur on such a day.
Scroll down to see her reaction to discovering my presence.
Montauk is no stranger to fog and it’s scenic coastline looks ethereal in misty conditions.
If you are planning a Montauk surprise marriage proposal, be prepared that the weather forecast may include fog or rain.
You may not even be able to see the Montauk Lighthouse.
Perhaps you can reschedule, however; it may rain on that day too…
So if you cannot reschedule – I recommend to proceed with your plans and make the most of it – just like Carl did.
The day was “perfectly imperfect” as the saying goes.
On the bluffs of Camp Hero State Park Lauren said, “YES!”
I have no doubt that they will revisit their proposal spot in the years to come and will always remember their commitment to one another whether it rains or shines.
Well done Carl!
Congratulations Carl & Lauren!
Thank you for trusting me to capture this precious memory for you.
Your positive attitude speaks volumes about your character and life perspective.
