Shelter Island Marriage Proposal | Sunset Beach
I am so excited to share this Shelter Island marriage proposal taken on Sunset Beach.
This scenic island nestled in between the North and South Forks of Long Island.
It is accessed via the North Ferry in Greenport or South Ferry in Sag Harbor.
Shelter Island is a wonderful place to propose and plan your weekend getaway to become engaged.
Jack did just that – booking a stay at the iconic Sunset Beach Hotel to ask Alana to marry him.
The Sunset Beach Hotel is a boutique hotel with 20 rooms overlooking the water.
Locals and out of towners all flock to this seasonal restaurant and bar for lunch or dinner for Italian and French Rivera fare.
Jack proposed with an exquisite marquise ring and Alana said, “yes!”
Afterwards we took engagement photos around the beach as well as the hotel and restaurant grounds.
We made sure to capture some sunset photos before Jack and Alana went off to dinner.
