Laura and Evan had a lovely intimate backyard wedding in the Hamptons.
Laura got ready at her parents’ house with her adorable dog Penelope by her side.
Sag Harbor Florist did an absolutely amazing job with all of the flowers. 
Laura and Evan had a “first look” before the ceremony on her parents front porch.
This allowed them and their family to complete most of their portraits before the ceremony so that they were free to enjoy their cocktail hour.

The ceremony took place at Evan’s parents home. 
Perhaps Penelope was feeling a little tired …or jealous.
The day started out sunny and shortly before the ceremony a blanket of misty fog rolled in on the South Fork.
The Hamptons have some of the prettiest beaches in the United States and the waves put on quite a how that day.
Laura requested a photo in front of her old childhood swing , which still hangs from the tree in the front yard.
After cocktails , they toasted with their guests and enjoyed a gourmet dinner and good conversation .
I am thankful to Laura & Evan for choosing me to photograph their special day.
