I am so excited to share this sweet marriage proposal at Argyle Lake in Babylon, NY.
Babylon is my hometown so it was fun to document this engagement within my own neighborhood.
The cherry blossoms were in full bloom all around Argyle Lake making for a magical setting.
In fact this location made the list of ‘Best Places to see Cherry Blossoms on Long Island.”
After Lisa said, “Yes!” John was there to wipe away Lisa’s tears of joy.
Afterwards we took some engagement photos and then they went to off to celebrate at La Famiglia in Babylon village for dinner.

I especially love the two seagulls that flew overhead juxtaposing Lisa and John. They were not photoshopped!
This last frame was taken at the Babylon docks by the Great South Bay just a few minutes away from Argyle Lake.
As always – I recommend proposing an hour before sunset for ideal lighting. This reduces harsh shadows and squinting.
Allowing us to take advantage of “golden hour” , rendering soft tones, colors and which is flattering and beautiful.
